Background
Kanab is an outdoors town right on the Utah/Arizona border. It is a crossroads through which you can get to many national and state parks, including the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Lake Powell. Several western films have been filmed in the area and you can visit an old type western movie set. There is a lot of hiking close to town. The Bundu Bus connects Kanab directly with Zion, Bryce and Page/Lake Powell.

The largest no kill animal sanctuary in the United States is located in the outskirts of Kanab. It is worth checking out if you are in town.
